This is my personal single speed commuter bike, a 1998 Cannondale mountain bike that I rebuilt from the frame up. I stripped, powder coated, removed all the components, chopped the handlebars and replaced the front suspension with a carbon rigid fork. I replaced the wheels with 650c triathlon rims. Free of all unnecessary components, the bike weighs a featherweight 10 kilos. I designed the custom graphics…The name Billy is inspired by the bike’s goat-like proportions and stance, and way it climbs hills like a bastard!
